Calligaris with “Leave DeSign” of RFK Human Rights Italy held by Christie’s

The annual charity auction held by Christie’s in favour of the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation Onlus of Italy returned to Milan at Palazzo Clerici and was entirely dedicated to design.
Born in order to carry on Senator Kennedy’s legacy for human and civil rights, RFK Human Rights Italy have been worked for about 15 years in Italian schools with teachers of all levels to provide the necessary tools for teaching on topics such as stalking, domestic violence, the death penalty, bullying, cyberbullying and many others.
Every year the association promotes an auction for fundraising in support of its programs, which this year saw committed the excellence of Made in Italy Design. More than 30 companies generously donated historical pieces, prototypes and one-offs including Calligaris, who offered his iconic Puffy armchair combined with the ottoman, showing his commitment with a concrete gesture to support the cause.
